Our focus is on nurturing critical thinking, initiative, problem-solving, and collaborative skills – essential competencies for navigating today’s dynamic and unpredictable career paths.
At DT4VET, we are committed to reshaping VET to meet the demands of the modern labor market, particularly in the aftermath of the COVID-19 crisis. We believe in equipping both young students and adult learners with relevant, in-demand skills to combat youth unemployment, facilitate re-skilling for burgeoning sectors, and alleviate skill shortages in the economy.
The Role of Teachers
Aligned with insights from the OECD „Education and Skills Today” report (31.03.2021), we emphasize the dual role of VET teachers who need to blend pedagogical prowess with industry insights. Our project is designed to keep teachers abreast of workplace realities, enabling them to impart relevant skills to their students while adapting to evolving teaching environments.
DT4VET: Innovating VET Teaching
The DT4VET project introduces innovative, creative approaches to VET teaching, focusing on:
- The DT4VET Training Programme: A comprehensive training program for VET teachers in partner countries, enhancing their pedagogical skills.
- The DT4VET Manual: Including lesson scenarios, worksheets, and guidelines for the practical implementation of our new working method in VET schools.
- The DT4VET e-Learning Platform: An extensive online resource offering project results, educational materials, and a platform for VET teachers to consult and collaborate.
Building a Future-Ready Workforce
Our goal is to fortify the quality and relevance of VET education, thereby improving the employability and adaptability of VET graduates. By integrating innovative DT (Design Thinking) methodologies, we aim to enrich the educational spectrum in VET.
Collaborative Development and Pilot Workshops
The project fosters a collaborative environment for sharing knowledge and expertise among team members. We will continuously optimize our content, ensuring its relevance and effectiveness. Pilot workshops in Poland, Slovakia, Greece, and Spain will enable hands-on testing and refinement of our DT pedagogical tools.

- Partner 3: Europuente Spanish Project Partner S.L., Spain. Focused on promoting access to European educational opportunities through mobility and transnational cooperation projects.
